Types of Unicycling:
1. "Street" - A style of unicycling which includes riders using any sort of urban objects around them (rails, benches, stairs) to pull off their variety of tricks.
2. "Freestyle" - Practically the oldest form of extreme unicycling and involves a line of showy or flashy moves flowed together into a presentation of tricks, often very ostentatious.
3. "Flatland" - Relatively new term to the unicycle community. This type of unicycling combines Freestyle and Street into one. Flatland is just doing a various trick and moving on flat ground.
4. "Trials" - A form of unicycling completed through a sort of obstacle course consisting of high tables, pipes, and pallets. Riders usually fulfill very high jumps with the seat out in front of them.
5. "Muni" - An abbreviation for mountain unicycling. Muni is any type of off-road unicycling.

Top Notch Riders:
Shaun Johanneson- An expert street rider. He was one of the unicyclers who implemented that determination in the art was necessary. Crank flips became huge due to a few people, and Shaun was one of them.
Spencer Hochberg- Born in 1990, Spencer has been into unicycling for a long while. Currently he is ranked as the #1 flatland unicyclist in North America and #2 in the whole world. His catchprase? "Let's put it to the wheel!"
Kris Holm- One of the most experienced and well-known unicyclists in the world. His history includes records for high jump and extreme stunts such as unicycling down the highest mountain in Central America and down the third highest mountain in North America. Kris has his own line of unicycle parts, accesories, and apparel.
Dan Heaton- This rider is known for his appearances in the media. Dan was filmed for the unicycle video "Defect" and he also rode in a commercial for "Columbia Sportswear." This rider has actually been credited for inventing street and flatland riding. Heaton is a world record holder and world champion of mountain unicycling.
